Where to start? One of the biggest hurdles novices face when starting a new business, whether it's creating ebooks or any other type of home business idea, is just getting started.

Well, I'm going to lay out the overview of a plan for you to help you get started on the ebook home business idea.

So, here is the plan:

First, you need to educate yourself. This means find out everything you can about launching a home business idea of creating ebooks. There is scads of information out there, but for my money, the best place to start is the Info-Products Masters Course, from Dr. Ken Evoy, of SiteSELL fame. So then, next, you should get an all-in-one reference manual. Although you do get enough information in the Info-Products Masters Course to get started in creating an ebook business of your own, you'll have a much better chance of success if you study the most authoritative reference for how to write, publish and sell info-products that is available.

I bought Make Your Knowledge Sell!(MYKS!) a few months ago, and I couldn't put it down after I downloaded it (and printed it, because I prefer to read things on paper, rather than the computer screen). It is written by Monique Harris, who has achieved million-dollar success with her own internet-based info-product business and Ken Evoy, of SiteSELL. This 300+ page manual is packed full of valuable, easy-to-read and understand information that you just can't find anywhere else.

I really loved this book, and I'm still going back to it almost every day, trying to wring every last idea out of it. I can't recommend it strongly enough. If you want to be successful in this business, you've got to have this book. Sure, you might be able to find other books on this topic cheaper or even for free, but I guarantee you they won't cover the subject in the same depth, nor will they include the same wealth of bonus information. You've really got to check this one out.

Once you've obtained and studied MYKS!, then you need to start implementing all of its steps.

• Brainstorm ideas for your info-product
• Decide what kind of info-product you want to create, i.e., ebook, booklet, etc.
• Create your ebook!
• Refine your product
• Develop your backend product
• Prepare to sell and distribute your ebook
• Price your ebook

If you're not sure how to get started on any of the steps listed above, you need to get your own copy of MYKS!

Once you've produced your ebook, then it's time to sell it. Although this step is included in the one above, it's such an important one, that I'm giving it its own paragraph. You can have the greatest product, but if you don't get the word out about it, no one will ever know. Your wonderful home business idea will die on the vine without promotion.

MYKS! does cover the basics on selling your info-product, but I still recommend that you get a copy of Make Your Site Sell!, the BIBLE of selling on the net. It's so reasonably priced, that you really can't go wrong. It has over 400 pages, and is written in the same easy-to-read and understand style as MYKS! It includes such topics as:
